I came across Ill Wind while doing a search on Kevin J Anderson having finished his Saga of Ill wind book Suns, and although it's a completely different setting, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't like giving the highest score for things generally, but I felt this book has it all/5(38). Ill Wind () by Kevin J.
Anderson and Doug Beason. "We expose our insecure spots " This novel seemed to be an extremely logical followup to Michael Crichton's book _The Andromeda Strain_ (). For starters, the story's pacing is up to the expectations of contemporary readers, in contrast to the aforementioned work/5.
Ill wind is an explosive debut about a group of wardens who maintain balance to the Earth, fire wardens, earth wardens, and weather wardens. Joanne Baldwin is a powerful weather warden who is running from the storm, looking for her powerful friend Lewis who is the only one who can save her from a demon mark/5.
Ill Wind is the kind of book I love to read: sassy main character, interesting fantasy aspects, a sprinkling of romance. Unsurprisingly, I inhaled the book, and really enjoyed it. In general I thought Caine's characterizations were brilliant.
Jo is fun and independent, just enough girl power but not over the line into ridiculous/5(). Praise “[Diamond] has spent 40 years circumnavigating the globe promoting democracy in Nigeria, Venezuela and some 70 other countries. Yet today he is aghast In his impassioned book Ill Winds, he proves a stalwart, persuasive champion for democracy at a moment when its reputation has been fouled by Britain mauling itself with Brexit and by the United States.
